Metal and glass curtain  systems have become increasingly popular in 21st century architecture. The curtain  system has developed rapidly over the past two decades, especially when it comes to weather control. A curtain wall system is a lightweight exterior cladding that is suspended from the building structure, usually  floor to floor. It can offer different aspects, but is characterized by tight vertical and horizontal caps with glass or metal filling panels. These systems offer a finished exterior  and  a mostly semi-finished interior. They are also designed to account for structural deviations, control wind-induced rain and airflow, minimize the effects of solar radiation, and ensure long-term maintenance-free operation. Most of today’s metal curtain  systems are made of lightweight aluminum.
